How we measure 24-48 hour delivery to Spotify.

Claim
KushTunes delivers releases to Spotify in 24-48 hours from upload-submit time.
Methodology
Time delta between artist's submit-to-stores timestamp and the Spotify-API confirmation that the release is live.
Data source
KushTunes internal release-pipeline telemetry, Q1 2026 (Jan-Mar).
Sample size
All Spotify-bound releases delivered in the measurement window.
Limitations
Artist-side review delays (incomplete metadata, explicit content flagging) can extend delivery. Other stores have independent ingestion windows; Apple Music and YouTube Music typically take 1-7 days. Pre-orders scheduled for a future release date deliver on that date regardless of upload speed.

How much does KushTunes cost?

KushTunes Starter is free forever and includes one single release per year. The paid Pro tier launches with founder pricing for waitlist members. Event ticketing carries an 8% platform fee; streaming royalties carry zero commission on every plan.

Is KushTunes free to use?

Yes. The Starter plan is permanently free and lets you distribute one single per year to Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube and 27 more stores. You keep 100% of streaming royalties. No credit card required to sign up.

Does KushTunes take commission on royalties?

No. KushTunes takes zero commission on streaming royalties on every plan. Whatever Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube or any of the 30+ supported stores pays you, you keep. Only standard mobile-money or bank processor fees apply at withdrawal.

How does KushTunes pricing compare to DistroKid?

DistroKid charges an annual subscription that must be renewed yearly to keep music live. KushTunes is pay-per-release with no subscription, no annual renewal, and zero royalty commission on every plan. See /compare/distrokid for the side-by-side.

How does KushTunes pricing compare to TuneCore?

TuneCore charges per-release plus an annual renewal fee to keep tracks live. KushTunes uses a one-time pay-per-release model with no annual renewal required. Both keep 100% of streaming royalties. See /compare/tunecore for full details.

What's included in the per-release price?

Every KushTunes release includes distribution to 30+ stores, free ISRC and UPC codes, basic streaming analytics, smart links, and lifetime hosting. Releases stay live without recurring fees, and you keep 100% of royalties from every platform.

Do I need to pay yearly to keep music on Spotify?

Not with KushTunes. Once you release a track through KushTunes it stays live on Spotify and every other supported store with no annual renewal. Some competitor distributors require yearly subscription renewal or your music is removed.

Can I get a refund on KushTunes?

KushTunes refunds Pro within 7 days of first payment if no release has been delivered to stores yet. Once a release has shipped to DSPs it cannot be refunded because store-side fees are already incurred. Email [email protected].

What payment methods does KushTunes accept?

Artists can pay for releases via card (Visa, Mastercard) or mobile money where available (M-Pesa, Airtel Money, MTN MoMo). Ticket buyers pay via card or mobile money through Pesapal. All payments are processed in supported local currencies.

Does KushTunes charge for ISRC codes?

No. KushTunes provides free ISRC codes for every track and free UPC codes for every release. These codes are required by streaming platforms for royalty tracking and accounting. Many competitors charge additional fees for ISRC or UPC generation.

Are there hidden fees on KushTunes?

No. The per-release price is the only mandatory charge. There are no commission cuts on streaming royalties, no annual renewal fees, no ISRC fees, and no charge for keeping releases live. Mobile-money processor fees may apply at withdrawal.

How are mobile money payouts processed?

KushTunes processes mobile money payouts monthly on the 15th for the prior month's earnings, with a $50 minimum payout threshold. Supported wallets include M-Pesa, Airtel Money and MTN MoMo. Funds typically settle to your wallet within 24 hours of processing.

Which countries support mobile money on KushTunes?

Mobile money payouts are currently supported in Kenya (M-Pesa, Airtel Money), Uganda (MTN MoMo, Airtel Money), Tanzania (M-Pesa, Airtel Money), and Rwanda (MTN MoMo). Artists outside East Africa can withdraw via bank transfer or supported payment processors.

Can I distribute multiple releases on one account?

Yes. Starter is capped at one single per year, while Pro and Label tiers allow unlimited releases including singles, EPs, and full albums. You can manage every release, collaborator split, smart link and analytics view from one dashboard.

Is there a free trial?

KushTunes Starter is free forever, not a trial — it permanently includes one single release per year, 30+ store distribution, free ISRC, free UPC, and basic analytics. You can release your first single without ever entering payment information.
